Our debut album War is obsolete is a music album and a psycho-physical proposition that you are invited to participate in.
It is difficult to imagine causing real change in terms of the destructive direction this world seems intent upon. Yet there is a new understanding arising a new presence that can be felt in the world by those who remain open to it.
The presence of the prior state is a creative poetic relationship that leads to a perpetually flowering understanding. An understanding of the one conscious self that is the true self of every being that appears in the physical universe.
This understanding is one reason that war is now therefore obsolete.
You cannot solve the problems of a dualistic world using the laws of that same dualistic realm.
The dualistic realm springs from a singularity, the non-dualistic Reality that Is the Prior State.
There is a hole in the universe where access to and help from the Prior State is found.
Becoming sensitized to the existance of the hole in the universe is a matter of bringing your attention to it. This is the aim of the music of Prior State.
No one is separate from the Prior State and we have all felt and realised it at different moments in our lives, but we are soon returned to where our attention remains mainly focused.
It takes a practice to remember and remain focused on this Prior State. One who is well practised in this is Adi Da Samraj who’s voice and transmission of Prior State awarness is an inspiration and integral part of Prior States music.
Jym, on the left, is an original member of 90’s world dance group ‘Loop Guru’ and a founder member and musical director of aerial dance troup ‘Fidget Feet’.
George is part of massive break-beat band 601 of the acclaimed album ‘Dirty North’. He is currently the creative force behind ‘Foodanati’, where food and music collide beautifully.
Both have always felt music to be a far greater force than mere entertainment, that it can invoke the depths of mystery Itself and therefore capable of causing fundamental change in this world.
Adi Da Samraj can be thought of in many ways, an astronaut who can successfully traverse between the Prior State and the conditional realms, or in His own words ‘I am the doorway to Reality Itself’.
Much of what inspired ‘War Is Obsolete’, beside Adi Da’s wisdom in general, is His book ‘Not 2 Is Peace’, a highly recommended book on how humanity may organise itself to transend the current problems it has created for itself in working together as one species and in tackling the problems of the natural world.
In this case Da brings flowers of wisdom from the Prior State.
Although we have an egoic resistance to receiving or admitting that we need help, if you want to be good at the piano, you seek out the best piano teacher. If you want to understand the nature of existence and the Prior State which is the context of Beingness Itself, then you look to one who is already enlightened.
